The Emphasis was build between 1991 and 1992.
The Bowers & Wilkins Emphasis speaker series was a limited and exclusive production, designed more as a statement piece rather than a mass-market product.
Only a few hundred pairs were ever produced, making them quite rare. The exact production numbers aren’t clearly documented, but the design and high cost kept their availability limited to high-end audio enthusiasts and collectors .
My speakers have only one pre Owner. He has buyed them new by my Hifi Dealer.
When he passed away my dealer offered me the speakers. They where never repaired and have no damage. They are in perfekt condition and work very well.
